City
Harvest, our favorite charity, is “the world's oldest and
New York's only food rescue program.” City Harvest feeds hungry
New Yorkers, primarily by “rescuing” food that otherwise
would be wasted (from restaurants, supermarkets, and other purveyors
of food) and delivering it to food pantries and similar agencies
that serve the hungry. It serves as a resource and model for similar
organizations in other communities. Click here

We are active members of the Internet
Healthcare Coalition, a nonprofit organization that “promotes
ethical, innovative, and high-quality sources of healthcare information
and services." Lois Ambash is a member of the Board of Directors
of the Coalition.

own health and the health of those in their care.
LLRX.com
“is a unique, free Web journal” that features “the
most up-to-date information on a wide range of Internet research
and technology-related issues, applications, resources and tools.”
Lois Ambash writes the monthly Metaforix@Health column for LLRX.com.
2Young2Retire
is a site for mature adults who reject traditional concepts of retirement
and seek, instead, to “redesign their lives to express latent
talents and deeper, heartfelt values.” Lois Ambash writes
occasional
columns for 2Young2Retire on “Side Effects of Cyberspace.”
